President of Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates came to Bangladesh on 5th December and expressed eagerness to expand his company’s activities in Bangladesh availing the advantage of existing congenial environment in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh is the first stop of Gates's weeklong visit to South Asia. After a half day visit, Gates travelled to to join the Microsoft Government Leaders Forum Summit, `Leading in connected world,' to be held in New Delhi,

During his few hours' stay in Dhaka, he has attend several meetings with government officials and leaders of Information Technology business, said Microsoft Bangladesh Manager Feroz Mahmud.
