Government Azizul Haque University College, A.H.Govt.College Bogra is one of the renowned public college under National University of Bangladesh. It is one of the largest educational institution which is located at Bogra, Bangladesh. This college was established in July 1939. This college was named after Sir Azizul Haque who was Vice Chancellor of Calcutta University at that time. Dr. M. M. Mukherjee was the first principal of this college.
The Bogra-based Pundra University of Science and Technology PUST is the first and only private university in the whole of North Bengal where 45 million people live. It is the only district-based university in Bangladesh. The name "Pundra" has been drawn from its cultural heritage Pundra Bardhan or Pundra Nagar. There are the remains of a Buddhist University in the region, from 2000 years ago, and the area is known as Mahasthangar.
Bogra Govt. Girls’ High School, Bogra was established in the year of 1869 A.D. V.M. Girl's High School The rule of East India Company has just been over the subcontinent; in that period, the institution was founded at the south of the Palace of Nawab Altaf Ali with the initiatives of social elites, Missionary, Hindu, Muslim and elites of Brahma society.
The Coronation School was founded in 1911 at north of Bogra Kalitala Haat and was named “George School” on February 1, 1912 after the King George V. Coronation Institution Later it was renamed “Coronation Institution”. At first all the school had a tin shed for its classes. The founding directors were District Magistrate Borodakanta Talukdar, the Late Nabab Abdus Sobhan Chowdhury, Khan Bahadur Hafizur Rahman Chowdhury and the Late Khan Sahib Riaz Uddin Kazi.
